1. Casual Denim
One of the easiest ways to wear jumpsuits is just to add a few fun accessories. Blogger Valentine teams her light denim jumpsuit with some colourful coral accessories. The belt breaks up the jumpsuit, the heels add some polish to the look, and the handbag is a nice colour coordinated touch.
2. Minimal Monochrome
Simple black and white outfits are on-trend right now and this outfit photographed by Diego Zuko is one way to wear this simple colour palette. The slouchy white jumpsuit has a low gathered waist with large patch pockets at the front. Worn with a large two tone tote bag and heeled booties, it works that high-low mix of grunge and glamour.

3. Bold Colour
Stand out from the crowd in a bold coloured jumpsuit. Mija was photographed for Refinery 29 wearing a rad red jumpsuit. It has a fairly loose fit but a boxy denim vest adds some structure, as well as giving the outfit a bit of street edge. White framed sunglasses, a box clutch, and tan heels complete this bold outfit.
4. Simple Slinky
Blogger Coline works a stylishly simple look in a slinky black jumpsuit. Here she wears it belted at the waist with an oversized clutch and flat black sandals. A printed headscarf adds a playful element to the outfit. A jumpsuit like this one is perfect for wearing from day to night. Add some statement jewels and wedge heels, and you’ve also got yourself a pretty elegant evening outfit.
5. Layered Leather
Leather and leather-look clothing has been on the scene for some time now. Leather jumpsuits might seem like too much leather for one outfit, but you can tone it down with some smart layers. Joanne was photographed by Suzanne Middlemass wearing this winter appropriate outfit. She wears a leather jumpsuit underneath a bright pink coat and with trainers. A small silver clutch completes this fun winter look.

6. Playful Prints
Give your wardrobe an update with some statement prints. If you want to wear a head-to-toe print then try a jumpsuit on for size. Elaria was photographed by Amar Daved wearing an abstract printed jumpsuit. While the print is quite eye-catching, she’s toned down the rest of her outfit with basic black pumps and a cosy textured coat. A bright yellow handbag adds just a splash colour to this mostly monochrome look.
7. Preppy Plaid
Plaid prints were popular for fall and winter. We spotted this plaid outfit on the Stockholm Street Style blog. It’s quite a preppy plaid jumpsuit, with its cuffed sleeves and button-up collar. Strappy heels, a metallic clutch, and a swipe of winged eyeliner stop this outfit from heading too much into pajama territory.
8. Daytime Glamour
The cut and style of your jumpsuit can make all the difference. While your typical jumpsuit might come across as slouchy and relaxed, choosing one in a racier design is one way to up the ante. This outfit was photographed by Mark Iantosca for Refinery 29. The deep V-neck is a glamorous touch and the dark blue colour is quite elegant.
9. Wide-Legged
Wide-legged jumpsuits are great for working a glamorous retro vibe. Mia was photographed by Emma Arnold wearing a wide-legged white jumpsuit with a bunch of quirky accessories. When wearing wide-legged jumpsuits, choose ones that are cinched in at the waist as they offer the most flattering fit.
The jumpsuit, while divisive, seems to be becoming a more acceptable outfit choice. These are just some street style examples of how to wear a jumpsuit. Are you a fan of the jumpsuit? How would you style one?
