Lately I’ve noticed quite a number of street style pairs popping up on my favourite street style websites. It would seem that coordinating outfits with your bestie is the new street style trend. In some cases it might be completely unintentional, but in other cases it might be entirely planned. Either way, for all of us street style stalkers, it’s like getting two outfits for the price of one street style shot! Not sure what to make of this seemingly new street style trend? Then take a look at these fashionable street style pairs.

1 The Boho Pair
The first of our street style pairs was snapped by the Topshop street style photographers. These ladies look angelic in their coordinating boho-inspired outfits. Ethereal cream dresses? Check! Statement necklaces? Check! Summery flower crowns? Check!
2 The Alterna Pair
Mpho and Nyana were shot by Suzanne Middlemass wearing edgy all-black outfits. Mpho wears a cut-out ASOS catsuit and Nyana wears a two piece she made herself with a black jacket. Both complete their outfits with similar round sunglasses and chunky black shoes.
3 The Streetwear Pair
Nitpqnun and Kochasorn were spotted by Glamour magazine wearing coordinating streetwear-inspired looks. They’re both wearing shiny American Apparel pants but Nitpqnun wears hers with a white t-shirt, furry coat, and sneakers while Kochasorn teams hers with a printed blouse and Russell & Bromley brogues.
4 The Striped Pair
This stylish duo was spotted on the Topshop Tumblr wearing striped outfits. The striped sleeve jersey dress teamed with sneakers is a very sports luxe look. The striped shirt teamed with a fitted skirt and jelly sandals is a quirkier take on the trend.
5 The Coated Pair
Emma and Natalie were spotted by Suzanne Middlemass wearing similar tailored coats. Emma wears her two-tone Mango coat with a striped shirt, leather leggings, and Converse sneakers. Natalie wears a black Cos coat with an H&M dress and printed shoes. These outfits are a great example of how to mix casual basics with smart structured pieces.
6 The Leopard Print Pair
This is really taking coordinating outfits to the next level. This stylish duo was photographed by Diego Zuko on the streets of Paris. While they’re not exactly the same outfits, the same elements – leopard print, blue, and yellow – are present in both looks.
7 The Statement Coat Pair
Cosy up in winter with a statement coat and your bestie! Fariha and Sylvana were snapped by DUO54 wearing these winter-appropriate outfits. Fariha teams her fur-trimmed floor length coat with cream and brown separates, brown boots, and a grey wide-brimmed hat. Sylvana wears a colourful chartreuse coat with skinny jeans, black boots, and a slouchy beanie.
8 The Black and Blue Pair
This duo coordinated with a cool mix of black, white and blue basics. One wears a slouchy white t-shirt with black tights, boots, and a statement blue bag, while the other does double denim in a faded jacket and shorts. These are both casual outfits that you could easily recreate for a relaxed weekend look.
9 The Layered Pair
Nicole and Courtney were spotted on the DUO54 blog wearing coordinating layers and prints. Nicole wears a mostly black outfit with a printed scarf and brown lace-up ankle boots. Courtney wears a geometric print sweater over a cream shirt dress with tights, black ankle boots, and a khaki coat.
These are just a few stylish duos that have been snapped on the streets. Would you ever dress in coordinating outfits with your friends? Which of these street style pairs do you like best?
